OFFICE STAFF
Shannon has been with the Hotspurs since 1995, and played until 2021. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Queen's U, and from Algonquin College with an Advanced Diploma in Business Operations. She coached with the Club for 20 years, and has been in the GM role since 2022.

Jamie grew up playing with the Club from 1996 to 2013. He has worked with the Club since 2004, and five of those years coaching. He has worked as front office staff, equipment manager, logistical support, IT support, etc. He has a degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Carleton University.

Since joining the Club at the beginning of 2026, Madison has worked across communications, partnership coordination, social media, and marketing. She is a former competitive swimmer who went on to compete at the NCAA Division I level at Cleveland State University. She earned degrees in Marketing and Psychology and spent her final year of university working with ESPN Cleveland.

Ella began as a summer student with the Club in 2026, working in office and on the field. She is finishing her Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Communications at Carleton University. She is a former competitive gymnast, and a gymnastics coach since 2019. She writes for online news sites, and is the Podcast Producer of her own podcast for Her Campus.

Lloyd is a former professional player and coach who relishes the opportunity to pass on the knowledge to the next generation of players and coaches at NHSC.

Duane was born into a soccer family and has been a part of the Nepean Hotspurs Soccer Club in some capacity since he joined as a player at 12 years old.

Kim is a mom of two, expressing her love of the game by giving back to the Club while still competing at the highest level (Women's Military National Program - CISM). She coaches players and coaches alike by getting into the grassroots of how we can and why we should play the beautiful game.

Kristy began her role as Rec Manager after coaching competitively for two seasons. She was Volunteer of the Year for 2024-25. She also worked in the FC Bayern Camp in 2025.

Dawoud started his footballing journey around 8 years old with Nepean Hotspurs. The Club and his coach, Duane Barker, truly helped him accelerate his development as a player and person. He now plays at the semi professional level in League 1.

Seth was born and raised in the Ottawa Valley, and happy to be part of the local soccer scene after competing in many other sports in his youth years.

Daniel is a Web Development graduate from Algonquin College and a substitute teacher at the OCSB. Since starting at the Hotspurs in April 2024, 43% of the players he has coached have advanced to higher-division teams.
Daniel coaches the Boys U9 Silver and Boys U10 Silver competitive teams.

Manuel has played soccer since he was six years old. He reigns from Colombia, and is also a personal trainer.

Eric started out as just a parent bringing his son for competitive training. He moved on to Team Manager for the Boys U8 team, the Assistant Coach of the Boys U9 team, then Head Coach of the Boys U10 Grey Team.

Ray started coaching youth soccer in 2016. After a break during the COVID-19 pandemic, he returned to his passion and found a home at Nepean Hotspurs where he currently serves as competitive coach.

Raymond-Jones Ngendabanka
Head Coach
James has been around the game of soccer his entire life, playing competitively up to the premier level in Ottawa as a teenager. He played competitively both as a goalkeeper and an outfield player. Coaching his own kids has been especially rewarding and has strengthened his passion for helping young players grow.

Grace is a senior soccer coach with over 16 years of experience at Academy, Club and National team level. She played for and coached the Rwandan Women's National Team. She plans and delivers structured practice, lead games and support players 'technical and tactical development.

Kyle grew up playing Tier 1 soccer and learning the game through hard work and competition. Those humble beginnings shaped how he approaches the sport and coaching today. Here at the club, he's focused on developing disciplined, confident players both on and off the field.

Kyle McDougald
Head Coach
Ernst has over 17 years of coaching experience. He played youth soccer with CSRDP until the age of 17. He then moved to Orlando, Florida, where he played for Racine FC. After returning to Canada in 2005, he joined the Canadian Armed Forces, where he has continued to stay actively involved in both playing and coaching soccer.

Phil started with the Hotspurs as a parent, then as a manager, and when his son’s team required a new coach, he offered his services, and now, his son plays on a different team and he finds myself just as motivated and passionate. Phil thanks his son for allowing him into the soccer world.
